As many of you know our family(okay mainly me) has been very anxious to get out of this little two bedroom apartment. Well, the end is coming soon. As of May 2008 we'll be homeowners once again. We looked in our current area of Plano, however we weren't able to find anything. So we returned to where we once lived before, McKinney. We found something that has everything we were looking for. It's a four bedroom two bath home with a study. It's on a corner lot of a cul-de-sac. It has a nice size back yard. It's a one story home. That's important to me. I didn't want to be carrying a baby up and down stairs all day. It's in a very nice neighborhood known as Stonebridge Ranch. As for the inside, you'll have to come visit me to see it.

Easter Egg Hunt

This year we just went to a egg hunt at our apartment complex. It actually turned out really nice. The kids had a great hunt. Then there were games and a craft. They even served us lunch. So right afterwards we went for naps. It was so nice for me. I didn't have to do anything but show up.

First Time in Curlers!

My friend Aubrey helped me last night by putting curlers in Charly's hair for church. She went to bed and immediately wanted to take them out, however I convinced her to keep them. I hope she'll do it again.

Aubrey we love you even without makeup. You're beautiful. You know that I had to post it.
This was the end result right after taking the curlers out. Charly's first reaction wasn't positive. She didn't like the curls at first, but once they started to fall she liked them better.
These are our beautiful girls.

Spring is Here!!!

I love a lot of things about spring. I love the beautiful weather. I love the blossoming of flowers (especially tulips). I love the bright colors that are shown in these pictures. I was told about this spot in Addison that had all these beautiful tulips and we just couldn't pass up the chance to go and take pictures of the kids. Thanks Jeni.

We sat Pierce on the grass without socks or shoes and he didn't want to put his feet down. He kept putting his feet in the air and would fall back. It was so funny and cute. The one thing that I really dislike about Spring is allergies. My poor Mackenna is being so affected by right now. I feel so bad for her.

Thanks Mom!

My girls love to paint. So I asked my Mom if she could make some smocks for them to wear while painting, to preserve their clothes. She made a set of two at the beginning of the year. Then she came across some very cute, brighter fabric and made three more. Below is a picture of one(of the three) that I just got from her today. Thanks mom, I love you. I will have plenty now for when friends come over to paint also.

Irritable

The past few days Pierson has been very irritable. He might be teething. That's all I can think of because nothing else is wrong. I gave him one of those freezer pops (unopened of course) and it kept him busy long enough for me to get a few things done around the apartment. Wheeew! Too bad it didn't last long enough. Please come in soon, teeth.

I DID IT!!!!

I told the girls after breakfast one morning to go in and make their beds. They both went to start this first chore of the day and at the end of the task I hear Charly yell, "I DID IT!". I walked into this. I love it. She was so proud, as I was of her, and for her. She did a great first time job and I imagine, she will only get better.

I love you, Charly. Thanks for sticking with something that might have seemed hard. You did great.

The Refrigerator Man

So Charly was opening and closing our fridge door. I asked her to stay out of the fridge and she wouldn't listen. So I started to tell her that the Refrigerator man was going to get upset with her. Here is how the conversation went:
C: Who?
Me: The refrigerator man
C: He lives in there?
Me: Yes, Who do you think turns the light on and off.
C: What does he eat?
Me: A little bit of our food. He leaves most of it for us, but he was talking to me the other day and he said that if your girls don't stop wasting food that he was going to start eating more because he's getting really hungry.
C: Are you really serious? (If you know Charly this is her famous question)
Me: Yes, I am. So you better start eating all your food so that the refrigerator man doesn't eat it all.
C: leaves the kitchen and begins to tell her sister.
Me: laughing hysterically.

I'm in the kitchen washing dishes and here comes Kenna and we begin to have the same conversation.

K: Can I see and talk to the refrigerator man.
Me: he only talks to Mommies.
K: Why.
Me: He likes Mommies.
K: Oh!

Well that was easy. Now let's see if they do better at eating all there food (mainly at breakfast). Does anyone else have any tall tales that you have told to your children that you would like to share?

I Said Yes Again!

Are you ready for a little history on my wedding ring. Eric picked it out all by himself and proposed to me one night over dinner. We took it in to get sized and when we went in to pick it up it came back with a very visible line on the bottom and clamp marks on each side of the band where it was held by some ring holder. They sent it in again to fix all those problems. I finally got my ring to wear and enjoy. Slowly but surely my ring begins to change shape and then you can start seeing that line again on the bottom of the band. One day I reached in my coat pocket for something and then it happened. It snapped in half at the bottom. It has been sitting in my jewelry box for a few months waiting to get fixed.
Eric took it without my knowledge to surprise me(mind you he did not take back to the place where he bought it), but he had to spoil the surprise to ask me about the size of my finger. The jewelry place said that they didn't want to get the size wrong. Platinum is a very tempramental metal and playing with it too much will make it too weak. I'm wondering if that's where it went wrong the first time around.
Eric was planning on taking me to dinner again to ask me to marry him all over again, but since the surprise was ruined I got the ring back last night and I did sayYES again. Nice thought anyway(the dinner).
I do love Eric. He's so good to me. He's a great father and husband. He's my best friend. I look forward to the next adventures ahead.

Nine Months Old Today!

Nine months ago we were blessed to have this little guy join our family. This morning we went and had his well check up visit. He is weighing 19 5.2 oz (50%). I personally like how this picture came out. Look at his cute feet.
