Today I had my nephew Parker over to play. It was a rough start with Parker being out of his normal routine. He's a baby that needs his everyday set schedule or he's just not happy. I think he finally realized that he's going to be here for a while so he's doing great now. He's really not trouble I just thought that would be a great title, however I do have double of everything. Double the diapers (only if I kept them all as proof), feeding duty, and of course the toys everywhere. Parker and Pierce had a great time playing together once the girls laid down for their quiet/nap time. Parker we love you.
Sorry for the couch full of laundry in the background. It's laundry day. I didn't do any laundry last week and I'm paying for it today. YUCK!!

Curls, Curls and More Curls!
So my friend Rebecca told me that you can cut up rags and use them to curl my daughters hair and they won't be uncomfortable to sleep in. So I tried it out Sat. night for church yesterday. It was kindof hard to put them in at first, but then I finally got the hang of it. It was harder on Charly's longer hair. The girls didn't complain and said that they were willing to do it every Sat. night for curly hair on Sunday. I'm not sure if it will happen every Sunday, but it's great to know that the girls don't mind it and it works. Thanks Rebecca.
I personally think the girls look like Laura Ingles from Little House on the Prairie.
Once I took the rags out of Kenna's hair I took the above picture. The first thing Kenna said was, "please, don't show that to anyone!". Little did she know I was going to post it on my blog. Love you Kenna.
Her hair took the curls great. Today, Monday, it stills has some curl. It's beautiful.
Charly's curls were more relaxed because her hair was too wet that night. I really meant to blow dry it a little after getting it in the rags, but forgot. It still looks great. I love my beautiful girls and their patience with me. They let me experiement on them all the time. The fun thing about the green rags is that it was an old rag of our kids great grandma's (or Nana Clinger).
I had to add pictures of what Kenna's hair looks like today.

Yesterday after church we spoke with the girls about their classes. We then all took our Sunday naps. We woke up and made a paper chain to use as a count down for our big move (great idea, Eric). As I was in the process of making grilled chesse for dinner and getting things set up for our weekly Americas Funniest Home Videos watching, the moments in the next few pictures were taking place. The first and second pics are of Charly "baptizing" Kenna. The third pic is of Charly giving Kenna the Holy Ghost. The one thing that we didn't get any pictures of is Kenna doing this same thing to Charly first. Kenna was teaching/showing her little sister everything that she had learned in her class today.
I remember that when the girls were younger and they would witness me receiving a blessing due to illness or a personal blessing, they would do the same thing. They would pretend to give blessings for a few weeks after.

Starting toooo Young
Many of you know that my husband loves to play World of Warcraft. One day he pulled Pierce up with him to watch. I teased my husband how it was too early to get him playing that game. I'm glad that he has a hobby. We just need to work on the timing of this "hobby".

So we went to the park with Eric's family last weekend and had a great time. The weather was Awesome. I hate being in photos, however I thought that picture on the slide was too cute to not share. Pierce just loved going down the slide. Do you notice the side ponytail in Kenna's hair(in the second photo)? A flashback to the
80's for all you 80's fans. Now as for the last picture. My husband is going to be loving this one. He is such the jokester and has fun anywhere he is. We love you, Daddy.

Pierce's New Tricks
The past few days Pierce has been taking more and more steps. When Eric got home yesterday he did about 10 steps at one time. We recorded him and of course he didn't do as well, but you can tell that he's really close to just taking off. At dinner last night he started to fold his arms it was the cutest thing ever. We love our kids and find joy in every little milestone of theirs. We hope you enjoy them as much as we do.

We love our Cousins!
Parker came over to play this past Saturday. After feeding him lunch he began to share his food and finger with Pierce. Don't you love that beautiful curly hair. Parker has all the hair and teeth between the two. Pierce's hair is so light and still no teeth. It's always fun to have Parker over to play. Today we had our other cousins over to play, Hayden and Alyssa. It started with breakfast following came lots of playing. They played potato heads, used chalked outside, rode their bikes, watched a portion of a movie, played leapsters and etc.

Pierce with Roseola
So Pierce is at the rash stage of Roseola. He had a fever for a few days and then this rash started showing today. The rash started in the diaper area and has moved up his back, stomach and neck. It can cover his face also, but hasn't gotten there yet. It's hard to tell, but that's a picture of Pierce's chest. For those that haven't heard of this before you can learn more about it at www.webmd.com.

Are you sure you're girls!
One day I let the girls go down stairs to play with chalk. That didn't last long. They soon found a patch of dirt and found this dead lizard (YUCK!). The first thing that happened after seeing the dead lizard was to find our way to the trash can and then wash/santize our hands. For girls they sure do love bugs. Their favorite bug is a rolly polly. Lately they love ants also.

A Child's Love!
So this morning I thought that I was doing so good. I got out early to do some shopping with my three kids. I was cleaning around my house and then I get the call. "Where are you?"
Yes, you know it, I forgot something.
I was suppose to take Mackenna to visit her old preschool in Mckinney. Meanwhile Charly, Pierce, and I were going to be at my friends Sheri's playing with her daughter. Well, Sheri is the one that called asking where I was. I totally forgot about this event on my calendar today. Once Mackenna heard about what Mom forgot the tears began. I felt so bad and I began to cry. I heartfeltly apologized for my dumbness. Once she calmed down she told me that she missed her teacher. She hugged me and told me that she knows that she'll go again. Not an ounce of resentment or anything. Sure she was sad for a moment, but accepted my faults and forgave them quickly. One of my many weekly lessons "...becometh as a child, submissive, meek, humble, patient, full of love...". I'm a very imperfect person, however I'm very blessed to have a husband and children that are forgiving. They don't hold grudges or throw things back at me. They see me for my strengths and not my weaknesses.

Yucky Season!
I think everyone here hates allergy season. I'm very high on that list of true haters. It started with Charlize when we had to go to the hospital with her two times in a six month period. Now our baby Pierce is going through the same stuff. I'm so glad that Eric and I have been educated to know what to look for and what to do when those signs appear. Pierce is down to taking his medicine twice a day now. He'll continue to be on it for the next month as a precaution. I really hope he grows out of this.

1. Where I was ten years ago.
Ten years ago was a very special time for me. I was finishing my time in the MTC and making my way to Guatemala to serve a full time mission for my church. I was able to teach some loving, humble people about my Savior Jesus Christ. I also was able to teach several families about how they can be together forever. I can't believe it's been 10years.
2. Five things on my to-do list today.
1. Go to a dental appointment
2. Play with Pierce
3. Pick my girls up from my parents
4. Laundry
5. Send out a thank you card
By the way, I got three of the five done, but I have to repeat number one again. Not bad for me lately.
3. Things I would do if I became a millionaire.
Where do I start?? Get out of debt. Set up my parents with everything so that my dad doesn't have to work one more day of his life. Send my parents on a cruise to Alaska. I would set some aside for my children's educations, weddings, missions and etc. I would invest some. I would gift some to all of my siblings/siblings-in-laws to pay off their debt and give them a little extra for savings. I would buy my oldest sister two new dependable cars. Pay my in-laws back plus some for the times they have helped our family. I would do yearly family vacations now and after my kids were out of house. Travel the world with the love of my life. Serve several missions with my husband after all of our kids are grown and out of the house. Theres much much more, but I won't bore you.
4. Three of my bad habits
1. I bite my nails
2. I pop my knuckles
3. ??
5. Five places I've lived
1. Amarillo, Tx
2. Dallas, Tx (several cities in the metroplex)
3. Provo, UT
4. Guatemala
5. Rexburg, ID
6. Five jobs I've had
1. Scooping ice cream
2. Waitress (Tis'a tex-mex, Texas Land and Cattle, Trail Dust)
3. Summer Camp Counselor
4. Office Manager (Dental office)
5. Mom/Wife
7. Something most people don't know about me
I love to travel even long road trips in the car.
I'm a college drop out. (I do plan on finishing someday)
I want to be a sergeant mother for a great friend of mine.
