Flu Season....Is it over yet??

This has been the worst winter season for us. I've had several friends tell me that Mackenna would bring everything home with her from school and that hasn't been a lye. Charlize got sick a few days after Christmas. She had some type of stomach bug and wasn't keeping food down for several days. Then I got the stomach bug. Then Kenna ran a high grade fever for one weekend. Then Charly got the fever. This past Friday I had to go get Kenna from school early because she's running another fever. Now I have some type of cold.

A Great Moment!!

Last night I crawled into bed and I placed my hand on my tummy and I got to feel the baby kick for the first time. The neat part of it all was so did Eric. It was a great moment in time! It's an awesome feeling to be carrying another human being inside of me. I love it!!!

The Joys and Pains of Pregnancy!!

I really love being pregnant and I'm very grateful for the blessing to bear children. I have never had a problem getting pregnant when Eric and I are ready to do so. I love the fact that I get to help my Father in Heaven fulfill his plan. I love the feeling of the baby move. I love that my husband and children will get to feel the baby move(in a few more months). The stretching of my belly, swollen feet, back aches aren't big concerns for me either.

However, the one pain that I have had since Charlize's pregnancy is varicose veins in my leg. I thought it was bad with Charly. OH NO!! It just gets worse with each pregnancy. Below are pictures of my one leg (yes only my right leg) that is effected by this horrible disease. You might all be wondering if they hurt? HECK YES!!! To put it nicely. This week they are giving me lots of problems. Today I have had to put my feet up, as much as I can with two toddlers.

I'll even have a month or so in a bathing suit with these beauty marks. Gotta Love it!

What Was I Thinking????

What was I thinking with letting them feed themselves pudding? Nothing a bath didn't take care of.

Hitting in the New Year!!

We literally hit the New Year of 2009 in with a pinata. Pierson unfortunately missed out on the fun, but the girls had a great time. Mackenna and Charlize both had plenty of chances to break it open, but I guess it was meant to be open by one person only this year and that was....





ME!!!!



Hitting the pinata was fun, but I think the girls enjoyed the candy better.





This was the first year the girls got to stay up until midnight. They did great(meaning they weren't fussy, whiny the whole time). We ate lots of food and played lots of wii. It was great to ring the new year in together. We look forward to all the new things that the year 2009 will be bringing to our family. Here are a few things we're looking forward to:

Kenna graduating from Kindergarten
