Pierce never wants to swing in the baby swing so I took it down and replaced it with the other big swing. This way the two girls could both swing and not fight over who swings first and for how long, etc.
Today Pierce wanted to give the swing a try and he did great. My baby boy is not a baby anymore. He's growing too fast!

Fieldtrip Day!!
Charly's preschool went on a field trip to a farm. Pierce and I tagged along. The weather was perfect! It was overcast so not too cold and not too hot, but lots of mud due to rain the day before. The kids had a great time feeding the animals and climbing on farming equipment/bales of hay.
This is most of her class lined up getting instruction from Miss Amy (the owner of the farm). Charly has 15 kids in her class. One of her teachers is Miss Kary in the pink. We love her!
This is the old rusty tractor that everyone wanted to climb and play on. The little boy with black, curly hair is a sibling of one Charly's classmates. He is a cute kid.
The famous bale of hay that I was talking about. The little girl on Charly's right is her great friend Ashlynn(one with red hair). We carpool and play together every week. They get along great!
Pierce had no fear of the animals. He fed the cow once and then when I wanted to get it in a picture he didn't want anything to do with the bread or the cow. Just my luck.
Charly didn't want to get too close to the cows. She had no desire to feed them. She was afraid of their long, slimy tongues.
Too cute of a picture to not post.

Bartering System
So Pierce has been needing a haircut for weeks now, but I've been too cheap to go pay $12-$20 (depending on where you go) to get it done. So I resorted to the bartering system. My friend Ricquel has three boys and she cuts their hair. So I took Pierce over there to her barber shop. In return I'll be providing a meal for her family this coming week. Gotta Love it! I do! Maybe one day I'll learn the tricks of the trade or maybe I'll just continue to barter. We'll see.
I think it turned out great. Thanks Ricquel we love it. He's still our handsome little boy.

MAKE YOUR GUESS!!
It's time to make your guesses! I had a doctors appointment today and I've gained 21pounds so far. I'm almost 31 weeks along. I've posted a picture (taken by my personal photographer, Charlize) for you all to see how I'm carry this little one. The heartbeat was 140 today. So tell me what you think I'm having. If you have any name ideas to go along with that guess I would love to hear them.

FunStuff!!
Over Spring Break in March we added some new fun stuff to our backyard for the kids(really for Mom). A Playground set!! Our neighbors that had the only kids our kids' age moved and we bought this from them. The kids love it. More importantly Mom loves it. It has a place for each kid to swing and they all love climbing around and going down the slide.
The next thing to add to our backyard is that pool that I want, Honey!!

Easter Card
We made Easter cards for our kids great grandparents that live far away that we don't get to see very often. I got this idea from a friend in Plano. She did this last year with her sons thumb prints. We lined our bunnies in order from the Daddy rabbit to the baby. I think they turned out so cute. Eric was the designated thumb printer. I love all the pictures below. I can see Eric in all of the kids. I love my husband and kids. I really favor the picture of Eric and Pierce. They both have their tongues stuck out. CUTE!
THE FINAL PRODUCT!! I know it's not the best picture but hopefully you get the idea.

Belated April Fool's Day
On Wednesday at dinner we talked with the girls about April Fool's Day. What people do on this day, etc. We didn't play any jokes or pranks on them (I know that this is surprising when I have Eric in my home).
Last night the kids and I were having dinner without Eric, because he had to work a little late. I made a pasta salad that consists of noodles, chunks of ham, celery, cheese and a mayonnaise/mustard sauce. It's not the girls favorite thing and if you know Mackenna shes absolutely positive that she doesn't like celery(which she hasn't and won't try). I told them they had to eat everything if they wanted dessert which was this most delicious cinnamon/sugar bundt cake(it's very moist and delicious). So they did, except Mackenna didn't eat her celery.
Belated April Fool's Joke
Eric called to say that he was on his way home and Mackenna answered the phone. Here's how the conversation went (somewhat):
M: Hey Dad, Guess what?
D: What?
M: I ate all my pasta salad for dinner?
D: Did you eat the celery?
M: No.
D: Did you eat the ham?
M: Yes.
D: That's great!
M: Hey, Dad?
D: Yeah?
M: I actually did eat my celery.
D: Really? Good for you.
M: April Fools!
D: AAAHHHH!
Both: (Laugh)
Eric got home and I asked him so did you fall for it? He looked at me and said, "yes". I just laughed and thought it was cute that Mackenna caught him in a joke. The girls try often but are usually not successful. It made Mackenna's evening.
