So last week I was headed out of the house with my three children to go to breakfast club. Some women in my church get together once a month to have breakfast and socialize (and as a stay at home mom of three you all know that I NEED IT!). I left a few minutes early to run to CVS to get some medicine for one of my daughters that had a small cough. I purchased what I needed and when I went towards my car I couldn't find my keys. Yes, I locked them in my car. I just cried. I just wanted to give up. $90 later I had my keys.
Today I went to visit my sister in Arlington. We got out with four kids to have lunch and to run some errands. As we were leaving one store the search again began for my keys. Nope, we couldn't find them. This time I knew that I did not lock them in the car. I knew and remembered closing my sliding doors(minivan) by my key faub (sp?). We went through both our diaper bags three times. The huge double stroller several times and nothing. Finally I called yet another locksmith ($45 this time) and they opened my car door to tell me that my keys were not there. I thought that I was going to go crazy. The guy started to make another key for my car...............wait they were found. My sister set them up on the visor of the stroller and then the visor got pushed back and so the keys were folded up in it.
All I can say is I HATE KEYS!!!

Are you sure it was your sister who put the keys on the stroller???????
Well that's what she said yesterday. Who knows if she'll admit to it today :). If not I'll take the blame. Heck they were my keys and it was my $45.
Love ya.
You need to get one of those hooks for your bag or purse. I can't tell you how many times I have locked my keys in my car or lost them. Now I put my keys on the handy hook EVERY time before I even get out of the car. It is one of those that climbers use. You push on one part and it goes in so you can slide the key ring in and then it closes back. This might sound confusing, but I can send you a picture if you want. Also, you can find tham at Home Depot for about $1.
Hey I like your blog. Love the p.j. pic. Awesome!!!! My keys are always M.I.A too. Yet, when I find them, I suddenly remember I put them there. lol.
Kristi,
I have set a personal record of locking my keys in my car three times in one day. Beat that! ;)
