Friday morning started by the girls starring in our local city parade. They rode their decorated bikes for most of the parade. It got hot really quickly. They did a great job at riding and waving at the same time. They definitely thought that they were the star of the show (and they were in my eyes).
Next to where the parade happened was a local antique car show. We went and walked around for a few minutes to oooh and ahh over all the beautiful cars.
Pierce has figured out that the camera will blink a light first and then take his picture so he has started to close his eyes. We love this little guy.
We then had a barbecue at our place with Eric's parents. We hung out until that exciting time to go and see fireworks(which can be a long time for two little, anxious girls). We got great seats across the street from where they were shooting them. We could hear the music and all. It was a great day that reminded us of the blessing we have to live in this beautiful country and the freedoms we enjoy. We love the U.S. of A.
